Lyssa

I waited many years to get a harlequin dane. I have always thought they were beautiful. Lyssa is the second Great Dane that we have owned. We also fostered another dane for a short while. She is pretty spunky for a Great Dane. She loves to run and play with other dogs, jump on the trampoline, and go for walks.

Great Danes in general have great personalities, but Lyssa is SO gentle with my children (except for her tail...she seems oblivious to what it smacks) she even lets my 8 year old daughter paint her toenails. She is extremely affectionate and wishes she was a chihuahua so she could be a lap dog. Her main job at night is being a pillow for my daugher.
